MBFW assignment (Inene)
During the MBFW, Our stand 3D attracted a lot of attention from the public as most people had not yet been fully exposed to 3D printing and the possibilities to literally create anything you set your heart onto doing. Whilst
working at the fashion week. We were given an assignment to
approach a potential client and design a range of products to suit their
existing merchandise. The company that I approached was a company by the name
of Inene which is an ‘’African luxury leather brand that is defined by their
bold designs, craftsmanship and high quality of their products.’’ They mainly manufacture
leather articles such as various types of custom made bags, belts, and other
leather accessories such as iPad cases, wallets, even leather covered hip
flasks. I was asked to design bag buckles, cufflinks as well as zip pull tabs and given the strict instruction not to overthrow the product, just to accentuate the branding.....off to work I go!
